Teaching

I wonder if a Masters Degree is actually useful?  I understand that with so many teachers having a master's degree that it may seem a useful addition to any resume.  I don't know except from my own experience I am currently working on my master's degree.  The value lies in understanding my personal journey through education.  Completing my bachelor's degree was great, but it fails in comparison to my current degree work.  My education is finally being put together in a meaningful way that makes since no more bits and pieces but a whole.  Financially, not on the need to do list but on a personal level very rewarding.  There are so many who go on to earn their advanced degrees and it only makes since from the life long learners perspective.  Learning, is so important that as a mom I want to show my children that learning never stops and that is another good reason to continue my education.
